COOKIE POLICY
Last updated November 2, 2026
Momentus is the product and brand operated by Hai Sensei Inc.
This Cookie Policy explains how Hai Sensei Inc. (“we,” “us,” and “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://moment.us (“Website”). It also explains related technologies we may use in our sales and marketing emails. Our Privacy Policy describes how we use personal information, how long we retain it, and your privacy rights.
What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. They can help a website function, recognize a returning browser, or measure website use. First-party cookies are set on our domain. Third-party cookies are set on another provider’s domain, such as when you open an embedded booking service.
Local storage is another way to keep information in your browser. Unlike cookies, local storage does not have a built-in expiration date. Tracking pixels and tracked links can help measure interactions with emails. These technologies may collect personal information or information that can be linked to a person when combined with other records.
How do we use these technologies?
We use these technologies for the following purposes:
- Website functionality and security. Services embedded in the Website may use cookies to provide requested features and protect against automated abuse. For example, opening our demo scheduler may cause its provider to set a security cookie.
- Website analytics. We use PostHog to understand visits, interactions with website content, website performance, and how visitors arrive at the Website. This helps us improve the Website and understand marketing effectiveness. Analytics may include browser and session identifiers, IP addresses, referring sites, approved campaign information, and interaction events. Where reliably connected, activity may be associated with contact or account information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
Optional website analytics is enabled only for visitors identified as being in the United States and is subject to the browser privacy signals described below. We do not use PostHog session replay or heatmaps on the Website.
What cookies and browser storage do we use?
| Provider / technology | Name or identifier | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostHog / first-party cookies | ph_<project_token>_posthog and a companion cookie ending in _cpm | Support analytics identity, sessions, and SDK operation. Cookies may be shared across our subdomains. | Set to expire after 365 days. Activity that updates the cookies can renew that period. |
| PostHog / local storage | PostHog browser-storage entries | Retain browser identifiers, session information, acquisition attribution, and related analytics state. | No overall automatic expiration. Information may remain until cleared by you, removed by our implementation, or removed by your browser. |
| Cloudflare / security cookie used by Cal.com | __cf_bm on .cal.com | Protect the embedded demo scheduler against automated abuse. This cookie may be set when you open the scheduler. | Expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. |
The project-specific part of a PostHog cookie name varies. Browser restrictions and your settings may shorten cookie or storage lifetimes. Cloudflare provides more information about its security cookie in its cookie documentation.
Browser storage and retained analytics records
Cookie expiration does not necessarily end recognition of your browser. PostHog identifiers may remain in local storage after a cookie expires or is cleared. To remove that stored information, you may need to clear both cookies and local storage for the relevant sites.
Clearing browser storage does not delete information previously sent to our analytics service. Website analytics records, including associated identifiers and IP addresses, may be retained for up to seven years from collection, as described in our Privacy Policy. Browser-storage duration and retention of those records are separate.
How can I control cookies and analytics?
Browser privacy signals. When we detect an enabled Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) or Do Not Track (“DNT”) signal, we disable optional website analytics for that browser. We also skip optional retrieval of previous website analytics activity and linking of that activity to your identity in connection with that interaction. An absent or disabled signal does not turn off otherwise eligible analytics.
This choice does not prevent forms, demo bookings, or other requested functions from operating, and it does not automatically delete previously collected information. Security and functional cookies associated with those features may still be used. The signal handling described here applies to optional website analytics, not email open or link-click measurement.
Browser settings. You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking cookies alone may not stop all analytics that use local storage or other technologies. Clearing storage without enabling a privacy signal does not prevent new analytics storage from being created on a later eligible visit. Blocking storage may affect some website or booking features.
You can also contact us about your privacy rights as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Browser help
For instructions on managing cookies and site data, consult your browser’s help resources:
Email measurement
Our sales and marketing emails may contain tracking pixels or tracked links that record opens and clicks, along with related timing and technical information. We may link this information to the recipient to understand engagement, improve communications, and inform relevant follow-up.
Some email applications let you block remote images, which can limit open tracking. This does not necessarily prevent link-click measurement. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages or contact us as described in our Privacy Policy.
Do we use advertising cookies?
We do not currently use advertising pixels, retargeting technologies, or targeting cookies on the Website. If we introduce them, we will update our disclosures and provide any notices and choices required by applicable law before using them.
How often will we update this Cookie Policy?
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our technologies, practices, or legal requirements. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated.
